Puppy Scanning

We offer out of hours pregnancy scanning service for breeders with bitches who need to be checked for puppy retention. You are more than welcome to bring your bitch to our premises or we can come to you, our mobile service is very handy for some breeders and our prices are very competitive although our charges for this service are determined by the time of the examination. We are also able to see the follicles at ovulating time to determine the best time to mate your bitch.

Even though we can see the follicles at ovulation when your bitch is in season we recommend a blood progesterone test. A progesterone test gives the exact day for the dog AI to take place and exact day of ovulation. This greatly increases the chance of your bitch becoming pregnant and makes it easier to calculate an exact whelping day.
